This book (copyright 1947) was my best reading experience ever until I started reading "Atomic Suicide?" (copyright 1957) by Walter and Lao Russell. The University of Science and Philosophy has served all mankind by preserving and sharing the simple truths revealed to and by the Russells that resonate deep within our knowing. I now love knowing myself, life, death and the Creator of the Universe for the very first time.
Walter Russell is probably the least known of the brightest spiritual lights. His background in science (see The Universal One where among other things he convincingly re-arranges the Periodic Table of Elements) makes his understanding of the nature of light and existence a compelling read.
Here are some extracts to give the gist of the book:The universe consists solely of transient light waves in seeming motion.Motion itself is an illusion. Earth and all it contains is a motion picture projection from the Sun.All are but one thing, Light.Matter is not attracted to matter. Opposites do not attract each other.There are only two conditions of matter: either expanding from stillness or contracting towards stillness.The implications for human life are not elaborated. Russell says the goal of humans is to achieve cosmic consciousness. He says Jesus Christ was the only person in history to achieve cosmic consciousness. He ignores the issue that Jesus was not an historical person, but an archetype of the divine human. He does not mention any mystics.Mystics such as Meister Eckhart, Rumi, St John of the Cross and other mystic could be said to have attained cosmic consciousness.Russell gives no instruction on pursuing cosmic consciousness.Russell claimed to have made ground breaking scientific discoveries, but they have not been taken up by the scientific community.This says a lot.
Do you want to really know the secret of the spirit world? Do you really want to know who the Creator is and your relationship to it? Read this book. It is fantastic in every way. Forget about religion and the doctrines it forces on you. This is the truth that your soul knows is true. It is heavy duty reading, take your time. This book is for the person who has studied world religion, experienced metaphysical things, searched for the truth all your life. In this, you will have found it. Fabulous book.
This is an amazing book. I would recommend this book and some of Walter Russell other books like "The Universal One" and "A New Concept of the Universe" to anyone who wants to know the true nature of our universe.

Walter Russell accessed an extensive amount of knowledge and insights during his mystical awakening. He wrote extensively about his understandings and related scientific, philosophical, and metaphysical subjects. In this book, he talks about the nature of creation, light, life, polarity, balance, electricity, gravity, radiation, waves & vibration, and the imagination and thought projections of the Creator. These are truly some weighty topics, but Walter's text is clear and informative, even when he gets into technical topics. This book is quite enlightening and actually better than some more popular metaphysical texts. The electric universe concept is truly brilliant, and Walter Russell's understanding of creation greatly exceeded most of what scientists erroneously believe, based upon their perceptions colored by persistent illusion. The "new" physics is just catching up with Russsell's ideas.
